I was thinking of attempting to start a team at my gym for the upcoming Fall Challenge. Not sure how the management will feel but I would think they would embrace it. They probably have no idea this community of motivation exists and should see it as a plus for their efforts in helping their clientle. I'm SURE it would help anyone rowing as most (if not all) thet "I" see rowing there are using bad technique (as I once did also) This could help lead others to this site for technique and training tips.
Do I want to be a captain? is there a bunch of work that I do NOT want to do as far as posting results or something? I do not want any responsibilty other than helping get others involved in the challenge and making the club aware to get involved in future challenges.

The hard part is getting your compatriots to sign up. The next hard part is getting them to log metres on http://www.concept2.com/sranking03/log.asp so that they count for your FTC team.
