I'm 67 years old and I row about 6500 meters 5days a week. Looking for a team. Last January I rowed 750,000 meters to finish 30th in the World Challenge.

Nice meters! Pretty impressive! I'm a member of TimbukTOO for a few reasons:
1) Low pressure, positive pressure: Everyone is very supportive, very positive.
2) Heterogenous group: There are men, women and children. There are people who row twice daily, others who row once a month as cross-training. There are people at the top of the standings and bottom, people who row for fun and competition, etc. Everybody "fits in" and has a place on our team.
3) We're neither first nor last, but we're always competitive. Right now we're in 9th Place, we regularly put up solid meters.
4) There's always someone a little ahead of me: The gaps are usually small enough that by putting in some extra hours, you can catch up to someone - and if you vacation for a week, someone has lapped you.
Bottom line: TimbukTOO keeps me motivated, and I think it will do the same for you!
