Get well soon Zander! I'm bad about getting to the doctor myself. Staph infections can be scary. I hope it's all under control now. Thanks for passing along the information Ronnie.ronnie1 wrote:Hi Luna-tics,
Zander has been in hospital the past 12 days and is there maybe another few days.
He picked up staph infection on one of his leg stumps at meet in Panama back in June but did nothing about till few weeks ago. He will be back rowing in a few weeks.
Good luck to my 2nd fav. team.

Ah, nothing like a walk off win ! Rockies have needed some whoop whoop and hooyah moments!
Meanwhile, back in our Rowing Universe, things are happening! We have a slew of folks headed towards the cool half million mark, and four in the hunt for their first million of the season. New rowers are making good progress (although they may still be wondering what all this million meter stuff is all about), and the younger rowers look like they're back from camp and ready to row again! Days of summmmmrr....perfect stuff! Baz (pretty sure that his trip is done....re-entry into the "real world: ouch"), Dave, Angelo and Bernie are all enjoying days of fall...

I'm thinking, forget Kevin Bacon, there are surely only Six Degrees of Separation between "us" and Glens Falls, NY ... for me, it's Danno's wife Jeanne; Will S.; my friend's daughter who just moved from Sacramento to Glens Falls for her very first nursing job; Sacramento Kings' rookie, Jimmer Fredette ... and now, Lunatic Kevin (not Bacon) ... Welcome!jay wrote:Welcome to the team Kevin, glad to have you aboard with us.

Congrats, Rosita! I've been trying to catch you, all month ... but, your soccer stamina and staying power is beyond me!Kona2 wrote:Congratulations, Rosita, on achieving a ONE million meter rowing season! We wish you many, MANY more !!
(who knew that you could only have 10 smilies!)
And, from the glow I see to the East, it's either Kona2's birthday candles being lit ... or Colorado is being consumed by wildfires ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Astrogator!
