I must not have had that bad a case. I had tons of the bumps and they itched like mad, but I never got a fever or had coughing or sneezing. Actually being on vacation was good as there were plenty of distractions to keep me from feeling too sorry for myself. And we found our retirement home site. If all goes well we close the end of June. House to come in 4-5 years. So that makes up for it... ;)

Yo, meters be wet unless they be dry.
I am trying to not erg more than twice a week, but we've had some heavy winds this spring. I do
have a race on Saturday. It will be my first time racing on a different body of water than the one I train on. It will be my first time on a river and my first Henley style race. It is a friendly so there's really no pressure. I'm probably even pulling the team trailer.

Hey guys...I got off to a pretty good start in January but then my father fell ill and all my attention went to him. Not an excuse, just the truth. Sadly, he passed in April and now I have wond down the estate and am looking to get back to a normal life...the new normal...So I am getting back on the erg and not letting my kind get in the way going forward. I hope its ok to be back. Can't wait to get some meters logged! :)

Karen, I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm glad you were able to be there for him when it meant so much. We're here behind you as you get back to the "new normal", and get back on the erg. Row strong for him!

I think we all look forward to being part of your "new normal". This team is still here and just being present is all it takes to be part of it.

Thanks for the support guys, managed my first HM of the season this morning - horrendous from 14 - 18K but managed to grit it out.
