squirrels are gone.
They must of ate some rat poison but they were both found in the cages the pest guy left in the attic for 2 1/2 weeks.
The 3rd one must of left before I sealed up the attic since I kept seeing one squirrel trying to chew his way in
Our intention was not to kill the squirrels, just have them leave the attic. I guess since they couldn't out, they were left to eat the rat poison i had thrown up there a year ago.

Awww, you missed me!

We have been enjoying an incoming wave of house guests, which is a lot of fun but tends to shut down my rowing time completely. I checked into the forum yesterday, and wrote much encouragement to Bz about getting Janet on the erg (I'm with her, if I didn't have a flat screen on the wall in front of the C2, with movies on demand ... well ... that going back and forth would get old really quickly). My message apparently disappeared into the grid somewhere, because it sure never posted.

I'm looking forward to future movies ... my jeans are starting to feel tight!

Sounds good on paper but there are many idle times during the summer. The first one is this week-end. A quick trip to Atlanta to visit my cousin plus allergies came back with a vengence this morning so probably no rowing until monday. That ought to tighten things up.

Hope everyone has a great Memorial Day week-end and remember what it's all about!

We've got a possum in our roof at the moment, and he's too smart to go into the trap...must have been there, done that before.

No way, could end up being a diplomatic incident, and the future King is an Aussie, of sorts! And we love Ovaltine too!

Lack of metres in the last couple of days.. felt like I was getting something so restricted rowing, but maybe just tired (need a lift - vegemite me up! or maybe a stout tonight)...

A good weekend to all the Luna-tics; TomO is up for Rugby tomorrow, moving into the centre position due to his volume of tackling per game! He’s excited, Mum is a little concerned...

Cheers, Baz

Can A 61-Year-Old Swim From Cuba to Florida?

It's 103 miles from Cuba to Key West, and Diana Nyad is 61-years-old--chronologically. Physically, it's hard to say how old she is because her strength and endurance are so far off the charts. Nyad, perhaps the world's most famous endurance swimmer, tried to swim from Cuba to Florida in 1978 and was forced to quit after 50 hours (of what should have been a 60-hour ordeal) when she hit eight foot swells. Now, the Washington Post reports, Nyad is ready to go again, planning to hit the water sometime in June or July. What's to worry about, other than eight-foot swells? The Post's short list of dangers includes sharks, man o’ war jellyfish, hypothermia, dehydration and cardio-arrhythmia. Stay tuned.

Read more in the Washington Post.

Meanwhile, those Alaskan number gnomes have been working overtime with the extra daylight! And I'm pretty sure that one of those other "A" states has number gnomes, too! Egad, they're in Mexico, too!

Oh those number gnomes are really busy today...and to give all those numbers their proper attention....and to meet an early tourney tee time....the posting will be delayed until later today. Fear not, our meters are corralled...although this cannot be said of the gnomes... :D Thanks, all, for making some fun numbers!
