Have a good weekend folks...and good luck with the start of the new season on Sunday....
And I can’t believe the destruction the tornados have created across North America, and hope all Lunies and families are safe and well...

I certainly enjoyed my shore leave this week! (I've been avoiding "The King's Speech" DVD which is sitting in front of the erg, waiting for me to feel like watching a drama.) If no one posts their saved-up meters, it looks like I finish the year in position Number 27 on the honors board ... how could I plan these things?!
Great rowing year, everyone. What are your goals for 2011-12??

Awesome year 27 and 27th place, egads. You are living on the edge. I remember when you struggled to 5K a day, now look at ya!
We have 4 Lunaics in the top 50 and 8 in the top 100. Prettttty good showing folks.
Not sure about goals for next year will have to see how things kick off.

Wowzer, mates! We have some great end of year numbers...and we have FIVE teammates who are already on the Global Marathon Challenge board!
Congratulations and woot! to Jerry, Cathie and Jay on their full moon aka full marathons to start the FIRST day of the rowing year off with a zoom!
Congratulations and woot! to Ronnie and Rivka on their half moon aka half marathons to start the FIRST day of the rowing year off with another zoom!
Team LUNA-Tics ended the year with 137 team members, and 141,637,835 m AND fourth place finish overall (that's a new high!). The average meters per team member of 1,026,361 makes everyone meter millionaires for the year!
A sonic boom was heard just before the stroke of midnight as Rocket Man raced to input his meters .... and to celebrate achieving THREE million meters on the season.
What an amazing year!
Numbers are captured, spreadsheet has been closed out for the season (but will check for stray meters over the next day or so). Timing of this trip wasn't so great for the close out, but will catch it all up properly as I have a chance. In the meantime, we have 15 Lunies on the 2012 team roster thus far...and I'm looking for a rowing machine here. Sam is feeling devilish with his 6666 posting and Katerina has a 4444....the number gnomes are having fun right out of the gate!
Whoop, whoop and hooyah for 2012 !

Hello team,
Congrats to all those that completed so many meters in the 2011 season.
The 2012 season will be my first full season and i hope to be able to complete all the challenges that are available.
This morning i completed my first half marathon. I recieved my certificate but my name is not on the honor board.
Is there something that i am missing, or does it take some time for it to appear there?
Thanks,
Dan

Hi All,
Congrats to all on the year just finished - Dr Dan and "Just 27th"... you guys are amazing!
I have just done the ritual formatting of the log-card, and hope that the new rowing year will be more consistent than the one just erased!
Cheers,
Dave

Whoop, whoop and hooyah for 2012 !
Congratulations LUNA-TICS for a wonderful year and wishes for an even better "rowing 2012"!
I am proud to be part of this team and hope that this coming year I can contribute more .
Without you all I would not even be close to the meters I rowed (still very few compared to the top tier of the team).
Jan special thanks for keeping all of us energized!
AJ, chasing to get in your graphics helped me put in a few extra (thousand) of meters. Thanks!
I was unable to row today as I did a 50 mile fundraising bike ride (Tour de Cure, in Napa), but I plan to contribute more to the team meters this coming year!
Happy rowing!
Andrea
P.S. If anybody is inclined to donate some funds to fight diabetes, please send me a note and I will gladly send the link to my fundraising page

Good luck to everyone in the new rowing season. Good health and happy rowing to all. Please stay injury free.
I had planned on rowing less and cycling more, but the weather hasn't been my friend.
