Team TIMBUK2..stay motivated and focused!!

The Challenge is about how many team members can row either 100,000 meters or 200,000 meters in the days involved.NOT how many total meters per team..

I sense some Looney madness going on in the virtual waters and this can easily make "us" lose focus in the goals we set.

The prize for our team is our pride and honor in the manner in which we row.How we feel at the end of each day at how much we have progressed from the day before.

Great job team and stay strong!!

As of 9:00pm EST there are 31 Virtual teams in the Challenge.

476 virtual rowers participating
24,787,071 virtual meters accumulated

and 62 rowers who have rowed for 100,000 meters or more.

September 30th is the deadline to sign up for a team for the challenge!!

Join us in the FRC08 and watch your goals be met.Get motivation for the fall and long winter ahead.Row 100,000 meters or 200,000 meters by October 15th.

TIMBUK2 always has empty seats in the boat and welcome new rowers.

We row for the fun of it and for the health of it.No pressures and lots of motivation.
We simply enjoy the ride!!

Very friendly atmosphere.

Participating as part of the Timbuktoo team has kept me motivated to keep up with daily rowing rather than my previous hit-and-miss schedule. I've been rowing for several years on my own, and I never imagined that I could be part of the 7500 meter honor board this late in a season, but it's actually within reach this year. The fall challenge may help me reach that goal! Thanks, Pat, for being such a great inspiration!

I have to miss a few days but will be back at it on Monday! Row hard and strong, teammates, to meet your personal goals!

A note from Concept2 FYI:

We are in the second week of the Fall Rowing Challenge and so far a record 183 teams have registered and have rowed over 65,000,000 impressive meters! Of the more than 1,700 rowers participating in the challenge, more than 20 have already reached 200,000 meters and over 120 have reached 100,000 meters. Way to go!
