Missed a couple of milestones amongst all the other activity.....
Congratulations to Ross, Sam, and if I’m seeing this right it looks like Kapt K has crossed over the 10M mark....what a great effort by all!

In fact, Friday, milestones, babies, sounds like a fair enough reason to drink a toast tonight, with a Cooper’s Stout of course!

As an aside, Milo, the border collie, did wander up to the garage this morning, took one look went back to bed...Jack, the Jack Russell was snoring when I went up, and snoring when I got back... Just as well they aren’t supposed to be guard dogs!

Good weekend to all, BBB

Battle of the Ergs: Day 11/12

Post by Kona2 » March 25th, 2011, 10:18 am

Here "they" come! The Ancients edged us out in the previous challenge...and they have been steadily working their way up the ranks in the last week....with an average meter production that is close to three times that of most of the other teams in the mix. So....as we head toward the midpoint of the challenge, dig deep for a few extra meters! Summmr's heading our way, and so are the Ancients!

4 ANCIENTS Virtual Club 4,691,188 30 156,373
5 RowPro Online Virtual Club 4,655,802 78 59,690

All that competitive stuff aside, we have some amazing rowing going on! The top ten percent mark now stands at those with meter totals greater than 101,500 m for the 10 challenge days we've completed. We've still got 15 individuals who qualify (and a few who are within rowing distance of this milestone marker!). Whether you row a little or a lot - the important thing is that you row!

Congratulations to all who have passed milestones the past few weeks. Awesome rowing!!!!
We are having a sleepover tonight. Brayden, Ethan, Allie, Ashlee, Kaylee, Dalton, Jackson, and Tristan. It has only been 4 hours but feels equivalent to a hard half marathon. Only 21 hours more to go.

Ah...the Friday update...I think I remember these scenarios! We finished 8th last year...and it happened kind of like this! It's all good - health clubs are eligible for real prizes - and there is a different incentive there !Maybe they'll even get some new people to row in this world - and that would be most excellent! Good rowing, everyone !
