Aw, he must have been very hungry to come that close, no?
Would he be a yearling?

Battle of the Ergs: Thru Day 3

Post by Kona2 » March 18th, 2011, 11:01 am

Woot! Having heard the clarion call of the Battle of the Ergs, the Luna-Tic fleet (aka the ArMOONda) is paddling swiftly! Meters are adding up and we have some new challenge team members! Welcome Beth to the Challenge Team, and year-round team member Steven D joins the Challenge Team as well. We wish you much success in your rowing!

Just a quick reminder that enrollment in the Challenge Team is quite easy to do -- yet it's not an automatic thing even if you're a year round team member. While you're in your logbook entering MEGA meters :D , take a minute to go across the top of the page and click on teams. Scroll down to challenges, and there should be a link there to quickly add you to the Luna-Tic World Erg Challenge Team.

5 Greenville Indoor Rowing Health Club 1,259,067 99 12,718

These five are leading our ArMOONda, and they are VERY well supported by those in the canoes that follow! Row what you can, when you can....recruit your friends and co-workers! It's a great time to be a LUNA-TIC !

Hah! I think Kristine's wildlife is a little more wild....although we definitely have moose in the region! The real Kona definitely gets a 'tude when those muttluks are on her hoofies ... and I'm I'll find a spare Muttluk or two once the snow melts...

Post by Kona2 » March 18th, 2011, 12:35 pm

Image Madness...Day 18...

Wowzer, mates...this Madness Challenge is relentless....and still we row onward! 36 team members are in the hunt for the overall challenge certificate completion, and 21 are still hanging in there for the 10K+ challenge! Team members are making some great contributions to the team meter piggy bank ! I confess that I ran out of time yesterday (might be due to that OTHER March Madness...) and couldn't get all my meters in for the 10K. Rats - but hey! That's what those six "free" pass days are for!

Hooyah! 112 million team meters! Way to row !!

Season meters as of 321/365 = 112,191,419 m

Total meters on the day = 280,940 m

Oars in space (participation) = 20 percent
