So far the focus looks awesome..
Remember our goals..to see if we can each row 100,000 meters , 200,000 meters or beyond.
Not what team rows the most..but how many crew mates can reach their goals.
Set your pace and keep focused..you are doing GREAT!!!

Caught two trout last night and a third got away! Too much to do at my job over the next several days, so no fishing, but it will give me time to row more (only 5000 yesterday).
Why do folks go to the quiet lakes and blast their music from their cars or boats? They could do that at home... Drove me so crazy last night that we had to pack up and move to another location. Turned out to be a great decision.

Just a quick post to let you know I am not going to be rowing for awhile. My 88 year old mother fell and broke her arm and is in the hospital out of state. I will be traveling to take care of her. I may get in a few days here and there until we figure out what is going to happen. She is going to have to go to a nursing home for a few weeks and I am thinking I may wait until she is ready to go home before going but not sure yet.

Oh, Susan, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, and although a broken arm at 88 is serious, I'm very glad it was not her hip.
Decisions about our parents' care can be so difficult. I know you will choose the best time to be with your mom.
Take care, and as Pat said, we will row extra for you!

“Life's blows cannot break a person whose spirit is warmed at the fire of enthusiasm”
“In prosperity, our friends know us; in adversity, we know our friends”
Throughout any challenge or rowing adventure there will be times when we cannot row for one reason or another. But nothing can break our spirit or team strength.
Timbuktu/TimbukTOO/Timbuk2 has always rowed to places unknown with the spirit and strength to take us there. The power of a team.
To all who must travel, care for loved ones, take care of overuse injuries or whatever happens along the way..we will row for you and keep you in our hearts.
ROW STRONG!!!!!!!!!!!
