LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 3.5.11
Quote from an astronaut in "The Home Planet":
Suddenly, from behind the rim of the moon, in long, slow-motion moments of immense majesty, there emerges a sparkling blue and white jewel, a light, delicate sky-blue sphere laced with slowly swirling veils of white, rising gradually like a small pearl in a thick sea of black mystery. It takes more than a moment to fully realize this is Earth . . . home.
- Edgar Mitchell, USA
Note: tried to find views of team members' home countries from space...this may take further research...

Sinead here I think we should go back to Earth then Mars and all the other planets going back to Earth each time!!!!!!
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
And you could kick a soccer ball on most of the other planets, too! We might need some rocket boosters...to get to some of the distant planets!kgallagher wrote:Sinead here I think we should go back to Earth then Mars and all the other planets going back to Earth each time!!!!!!

What has happend to our affiliation team numbers? Are we now running in reverse?
Re: Running in reverse
We always welcome team members to stay as long as they want to stay - and when they leave, they take their meters with them. We generally don't know the "why" of either arrivals or departures ! This is the unexpected, unanticipated part of astrogation: we are delighted with meter addition and new or returning teammates, and we are saddened with meter subtraction and the loss of teammates. In the last couple of weeks, we lost Terri and Kenny H, Jerry H, Katerina M, and Robyn L. We gained Benny, Adian, James G and Dan M. Net net we dropped about 4.5 million meters recently, yet we're still exploring the moon's surface - and hope to provide a team atmosphere that fits the needs of the team members.dtangeri wrote:What has happened to our affiliation team numbers? Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
WOW BAZ that's impressive. I've just gotten to the point where I can pretty much get 10,000 under 45 min. Now I'm gonna have to try and break 40 min. Its been a while since I tried for a personal best.

And great work Ron & Mitch....
Too be honest dinner last night was the normal fair (beef, mushrooms and onion marinated in a light soy)!!
Now I have vegemite on a bread-roll mid-morning everyday and must say it is no doubt a contributing factor, but we should keep it a Luna-tics secret, don’t want everyone on to it!! They reckon Usain Bolt has attributed his speed over 100 metres to a daily dose of vegemite...(okay I made that up!)
But I must say the one thing I have worked at improving in recent times is my breathing, it sounds simple to just ‘breathe’ but I felt something wasn’t quite right, so I have deliberately focussed on it over the past month after realising I was only ‘sipping’ air, rather than breathing strong into the diaphragm. I don’t want this to sound boring, but I must say by concentrating on it I have improved the oxygen flow to my body and muscles, and it has lessened fatigue and increased endurance.
And for the uninitiated.......
