Thanks for recognizing the 3 million, folks! B)

As challenging as it is to prepare for a PB for a set distance or time, I am finding that the real challenge in this rowing is the day-in, day-out getting on the erg and rowing for an hour-a-day, five-days-per-week, for fifty or so weeks each year!

I am hoping to end the year somewhere slightly better than the 100th place in the season's meter rowed this year. Out of something like 28,000+ active rowers this year, that will be a great accomplishment for me. Kyle and David, of course, will be that much more accomplished. Those guys are driven!

I think one needs the constitution of a Lou Gehrig or Cal Ripken Jr. to make a name for yourself in this business!

Lisa,
It looks like I'm not going to make make my goal for this challenge so if you don't mind putting me back in the slacker boat for the time being. Life has gotten in the way of my rowing time for the last couple of weeks and probably will for a little while longer. Hopefully I won't lose all those gains that I made this fall......Warren F.
Hey Warren, no worries! I hope everything gets resolved A-OK. We'll be here when are ready to pick up that oar again!

It got cold really quick today. It was nice and sunny --- then all of a sudden it started snowing, and freezing.

Hey, Mike, can you recruit some other truckers out there to erging? :D Looks like a pretty desolate place to work out, but at least it doesn't look like you were getting fumed!

Pirates have absconded with our intrepid Cap'n again, so I'll do Thursday numbers tomorrow AM. This time they dragged him into international waters, and it will take some time for the Navy Seals to craft a plan to retrieve him, so you've got ME cracking the whip for a while!!
