Virtual Team Challenge 500K

Congraulations, Bart, on your rowing 500K for the Virtual Team Challenge!

Creating your tub allowed me to insert the manneken pis, who took a while for Chris and me to find in his out of the way corner in 1971 . . . but I guess that was the point! :D

Crikey…..go the Luna-tics! What an oar-some effort by all during the challenge so far.

Back from our holidays and ready to row. I’m looking at it this way, if rowing gains you ‘beer’ credits then my account is well and truly overdrawn, so a bit of work to be done starting tomorrow morning.

We had a great holiday, good surf, and TomO tops it off today with his participation in the kids Sanitarium Weetbix Try-Athlon. (3,000 7 to 15 year olds!) :)

Cheers

19 Million....just one more entry.....and HAVK is closing the gap (they, too, have been known to do this..)
Kona2, I'll be travelling away for the week-end so no meters for me until Sun evening or Mon morning. It's good though because I got massive blisters on my back side from the 30k this morning. Will some of your duct tape work for that?
Ross
Hi Ross,
From personal experience(don't ask  ), I would'nt recommend duct tape. I have one of those gel pads K2 mentioned, but it does'nt work all that great. I have'nt it tried yet, but a friend recommended the type of pad designed for wheel chairs. She said the one she uses has has individual air pockets, sort of like super bubble wrap. Hers is designed so that there are seperate air chambers so the pad can be trimmed to fit without affecting adjacent chambers. They can be purchased at most medical supply stores. They are a little pricey, but I guess if you really want to protect your valuable assets, it might be worth the added expense :D
Ron
Thanks, Ron. I'm currently on Delta Airlines en route from Orlando to Wash DC to Atlanta. Then home to Asheville. My backside is still sore and Delta is not helping me very much. I appreciate your valuable information. I know I have to do something. The wheel chair pad sounds good. I'll check it out.

GO TEAM - TWO MORE DAYS!!
Ross
