All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 1.25.11
To the moon, mates, to the moon!
And the dial reads: 3,701,014 m
As we prepare to enter our victory orbit of 11,526,910 m, crew members are checking out the lunar maps. We have several seas to explore, gimondous craters to cross (hiking and biking an option here), valleys, and truly the mountains of the moon (not those in Africa) just beg for a mountain bike tour.
What a day we had yesterday! Almost three-quarters of a million meters were logged by the team! Spectacular Tuesday effort!
Season meters as of 270/365 = 91,537,094 m
Total meters on the day = 729,804 m
Oars in space (participation) = 43 percent! Woot!

As we tighten the belt....
As the GPS might say....recalculating....recalculating!
Distance to lunar landing is : 6,113,816 m at the time of this posting! Woot!
And we're all rowing like crazy (so we should have the advantage?!)

When the weather outside is frightful....
Wowzer....sounds like ANOTHER snow day might be coming up for some of our teammates in the NE portion of the US....many mentions made of Hartford, CT getting another foot of snow today. Tough to keep up with all that snow shoveling AND rowing! (The rowing is the important one! Not that I would mention that a SNOW day is like getting a free pass for more rowing..... )
Cathie is about 10K away from her million meters in the virtual challenge....you can do it, Cathie!! Woot!

Re: Virtual Reality: Day 25/26
I'm loving the ArMOONDa! This is the first time I've been actively paddling along and I'm loving it! I have a great crew too. I'm impressed with your meters Jackson-Mario (or is it Mario-Jackson?). My 10 year old daughter put in about 13,000m in the holiday challenge. You are blowing her efforts away with your progress here. Keep up the good work!
