Congratulations, Ethan, on achieving the 25,000 m milestone and climbing into your canoe...with all your gear! May your canoe travel swiftly to the 75,000 m milestone so you can snag a canoe paddle!

Whoa....and Ethan is 4....
Thanks Kona and A. J. from Ethan. Ethan loved the canoe and his bow and quiver of arrows. Unfortunately, he is coming down with Strep throat like Tris, Dalton, Allie, and Brayden, so he went home early feeling pretty bad. Not sure if Ashlee , Kaylee, and Jackson will be next. Hope not. They all want to row and go to school. ( though we watched movies today, in between napping)

I couldn't add meters yesterday as it was a blood donation day, and although I may be looney - I wasn't looney enough to get up at 4:30 just to get some meters in.

It has, however, been a good week.
I got my fancy, shmancy, hand-made canoe paddle on Sunday, and I reached my next gallon level at the blood bank yesterday. I'm now at 21 gallons B) (168 units donated.) I'm also just shy of my next million meters, but probably won't get there until this Sunday.

82 Million Team Meters!!

Numbers and stats were captured earlier today....but on the way to the posting....the forum went offline for maintenance, delousing or something! With the exception of the 82 million team meters (woohoo!) called out above, all the rest is from early today. Welcome back to Gene B., a two season team member! Always great to see returning crew!

What an incredible INCREDIBLE number of milestones we are racking up - seems like each day brings a whole new batch! What an incredible number of new team profile PHOTOS! It appears that Peter G has taken up discus, Cathie is leading a class in yoga, kayaking or interpretative storytelling (yes, I am wildly guessing), and Ashlee, one of our number gnomes, is clearly having a good time in her red, red dress and Santa hat. I think Tammy's photo is a falcon....

Total Meters to Lunar Landing: 13,541,759 m

ETA = Week of Valentine's Challenge or about 22 days

Season Meters as of 263/365 = 81,696,349 m

Total Meters on the Day = 673,895 m

Oars in space (participation) = 37 percent

Belated thanks Jan and AJ! You are awesome and really help pushing the "boat" ahead!
I am in a terrible schedule crunch, but am hoping to get the paddle too :).

Thanks again and congratulations to the team for the wonderful achievements!
I would be nowhere close to what I have rowed (still little, by comparison) without the encouragement!
