Did my crazy hair get bigger and crazier with my paddle, or is it just my imagination? Maybe the increased wind velocity???

New Teammate

Post by Kona2 » January 17th, 2011, 6:44 pm

Woohoo! Welcome to Tammy G - who says she is "the bane of brother Jay's existence." Hahahaha! How perfect!

And Big Hair Kristine - yes - I do believe that during the canoe trip from 100K to 200K your hair grew, grew, grew. Since we know that you are of the "go big or go home" philosophy, we know we can count on the fact that the bigger the hair, the greater the meters. :D Yep, I couldn't make all this stuff up.

Meanwhile, here in the snowy Rockies, the pass to get back to Denver is closed due to adverse conditions. We'll see whether or not the weather cooperates...or not.

If you've got some time for a few extra meters, today would be a GREAT day for it. The team currently behind us is closing the gap -- my metric has been 300K ahead....and they are now within 250K. To the canoes! To the ergs!
