Virtual Reality: Another Canoe!

Post by Kona2 » January 13th, 2011, 3:04 pm

Wow! Laura's uploaded some MAJOR meters this day and has vaulted into her canoe! Not sure if it's a compilation of meters or a FULL moon (but she'll get credit for mooning us in tomorrow's stats!)!

Einstein update . . .

Post by DUCKMARX » January 13th, 2011, 3:29 pm

brotherjim wrote: Dalton loves (his canoe) and can't wait to have his dog with him.
Dalton, being that you have been rowing very hard and are in the middle of things, you may not have noticed Einstein. It seems that he has been running along the shore barking and jumping and, in general, behaving like a very excited dog. This has caused much complaining among neighboring tribes because either 1) they don't have a canoe :D or, worst, 2) they don't have a dog or a cat or a rabbit or a mouse or even a pet rock :o

But Einstein is a smart dog (Good grief! He wouldn't be named Einstein if he wasn't! ) . . . and he has noticed your amazing rowing ( . . . as well as the amazing rowing of your brother, and cousins, and all the LUNA-tic rowers who may be reading this message to Dalton  ). Calculating your speed relative to his speed running along the shore, and checking it at least twice, and then getting an independent peer review ( . . . governmental safety regulations! :P ), he has jumped into the water in order to meet up with you when you reach 50,000 meters :D

I could really use a paddle about now - we are getting so much rain and snow melt here that we are slipping and sliding everywhere.

Wonderful! It is quite incredible that a 5 year old has rowed over 25,000 m in two weeks. I hope she feels really really good for reaching 25,000 m :D
