New and Returning Teammates

Post by Kona2 » November 28th, 2010, 1:58 am

Always great to see a returning teammate (welcome back, Tina!) on the roster and a new teammate (welcome, Patricia D)! The holiday challenge brings many people to the erg for their first challenge - and it's a holiday tradition for many others. Whatever your inspiration, we wish you many good rowing sessions!

Beaming in from a remote location....

Near Lake Granby, CO

We always consider it good karma when we spot a moose....and to see two of them yesterday while driving in to the "remote location" - a great "wildlife fix" for sure! These two were getting a quick drink from the creek.

All those milestones yesterday made for some impressive meter totals - the team posted 422,131 m! Milestones to report today include: 3.0 MM for AJ, 1.1 MM for Peter G, and 100K for Dan E....and  I forgot to put the spreadsheet file on a flash drive....so, full report on erging successes will be later today! Rats. In the meantime, row lots of meters towards your personal goals in the Holiday Challenge and I'll watch the fog roll across the landscape here in Baskervillian fashion. Visibility is a few hundred meters with present temperature at 14 F (-10 C) and a lotta snow on the way....

Thanks!

I agree completely. Every year some of my real world rowing teammates orgainze an erg team for the off season challenges. I continuously turn them down. The Lunatics are an amazing inspirational supportive bunch. I couldn't imagine erging with anyone else. I'm glad you found a home with us.

But who will be Prancer and Vixen????????
And shouldn't the first be Rudolph? That would back everyone up one!

Or do we want to wait and see who is the most prolific meter maven to determine Rudolph?

I leave those decissions to the powers that be.

Just trying to stir the puddin'.
