LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Some meters REALLY make a statement...
Hooyah!
Some meter amounts make a statement that just calls out to be celebrated....AJ's meter total for the day says 42,195 m....and that's a FULL marathon! And it's a first!
Congratulations!

I had trouble with blisters and hot spots while my hands were getting tough. My son, who rowed in college, gave me a value pack of ACE Sports Tape, which really helped. I also bought some rowing gloves, and still use them sometimes toward the end of a HM: http://www.newgrip.com/rowing.htmlBigBrett58 wrote: My blisters have blisters.

Re: Some meters REALLY make a statement...
K2 and WIld Bill, thanks. . . . and you're right Bill, it was good to get it behind me but best of all is being part of a most auspicious LUNA-TIC FTC Day One . . . 487,153 meters by 32 rowers . . . Bill with 54,024 (Amazing!), Will with 35K, Danno with 32K, 5 half marathons and others challenging themselves to do their longest rows (. . . and BAZzy blowing past 1000K with two 16,000 days)! What a great start! Great job everyone!Kona2 wrote: ...and that's a FULL marathon! And it's a first!

Great job on all the meter milestones these past few days, and also on a very strong jump out the gate on the FRC! Way to go, LUNA-TICS!
I had a great run on Sunday at the Two Bear Marathon in Whitefish, MT. I will be back on the rower starting Monday!
