All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 9.3.10

Post by Kona2 » September 4th, 2010, 10:37 am

Image All kinds of rowers needed ! Sign on to participate as a member of the Luna-Tic FTC team.....the roster is open until 30 September! It's a 31 day commitment, and a chance to try out the team environment. We're betting that you'll find the support and camaraderie of the team helps you meet your goals!

And, if you find you like participating with the challenge team, we're hoping that you'll sign on with the year-round team (to do this, you go to your profile page while in your online logbook, scroll down to affiliations and pick Luna-Tics!). You'll then appear on the team roster that can be seen when you click on affiliation standings. We're currently number 7 in meter totals for the year, and we have 63 team members (and one clone). Your daily meters can be reported (and celebrated) before and after the FTC only if you're a member of the year-round team....we can't "see" an individual's meters outside of the Challenge period unless they are a year-round team member (not even Madame Zoltana, seer of the future has this capability).

29 team members on the roster as of this morning ! This year's FTC promises to be one of the wildest on record.....so get a grip and get ready to rumble!!

Shameless advertising....I know. :D

Season meters as of 126/365 = 22,948,051 m (That 23rd million is well in sight!)

Total meters on the day = 207,614 m

Oars in space (participation) = 21 percent

MILESTONES...Bragging Rights...Celebrations:

2.4 MM Will S
1.0 MM AJ

After a 3 month break  I'm quietly sneaking back onto the boards. Had a nice summer--lots of hiking and a trip to the UK to see family, and attend a wedding. The erg was a little dusty today, but worked like a charm. And good news--since beginning this fitness adventure I've lost 10 lbs.

Glad to see the ongoing progress for all. :D

Best,
Melissa

Hi All!

I received an email about the fall team challenge. I'm still on the water, so likely won't be erging much (if at all), but I signed up, just in case I do get on the erg. If it hurts the team for me to be listed but not erging, let me know and I'll remove my name.

Kudos on all the meters you guys have put in during my time off the erg.

Karyn
