(I googled tough mudder images. Unbelievable!! Not for this wimp!!!)

No, that is not me, but the setting is quite familiar. The worst of the obstacles for me, was 'Walk the Plank" which is a 15' platform above the water (really cold, limestone mine water.) Now the 15' isn't bad, but combined with the 10' difference between the grade where the platform was affixed and the water line made for a long jump. It seemed that I screamed and had time to scream again before hitting the water. OK, maybe an overstatement, but damn, it was far.

I have nothing to do with either of these, but these are some of the better vids of the event:

My hair stylist did the Florida Tough Mudder last year and she loved it.I sent her a bracelet to wear thru it and it represented a warrior. She WAS!! Endorphin Warrior .com has some awesome fitness wear to say what you feel.I admire anyone who trains and is a Tough Mudder.I wear a tee shirt proudly to motivate and to support my TM friends.Way to go!!!I also have a supporter head band.. .. a rare find!

Once my knee feels better, I'll probably be inclined to do it again next year.

Hello Team!

Thanks for all of your support this season; I've really enjoyed our challenges together and to finally hit 2M Metres in 12 months has always been a major individual goal. I would also like to thank our inspirational captains, without their hard work this Team wouldn't be possible- my sincere appreciation for you both Izz and Damelsfly!

I completed the UK version of 'Tough Mudder' last year which is aptly called 'Tough Guy'. The signing of a death warrant beforehand made me slightly apprehensive, but I had a great time (even though it was one of the coldest January's on record!).

Here is to a great 12/13 season!

"Keith J - 22,580 Back in the boat!"

Sadly that is the combination of the only 3 days out of 14 I could find a C2! posted on my return.

Four days in planes and airports two in hire cars and only one hotel out of three in California with an erg.

Ah well it reacquainted me with Xtrainers.

Saturday to get over jet lag but back in harness (or whatever) today.

Keith

It was rough, I tell ya! I was riding along the highway, minding my own business, when suddenly I came to the crease in the road map! When I swerved to avoid it, I accidentally ran into the Road Map Legend, right between Highway Types & Points of Interest. The good news is that, having practiced my whole life the art of fighting my way out of paper bags, I should be able to disentangle fast enough to post tonight's numbers...

4 million meters was a long time coming- but I hit it this morning, as an adjunct to a 60 minute session on the AZRC trainer.
My job requires a significant amount of travel and most locations do not have an available boat to row.
I will be at UNC week after next, for 3 days- and they do have a few extra boats.
My office in Columbus has a boat, but the meter is out of whack- I am tempted to buy the office erg a new meter, but have not yet done so.
It is good to see the team thriving. My goal is another 1.6 or 1.7 million meters next season.
Party on!

I have about 150k to go to hit 3M. At that point I'll "post-it". (Take that in the pun battle, Izzmeister!! :P )

Early morning short row brought me to within 5313 meters to go for a season Mil.

Nice having an erg in the house. One of the best things I have ever done, I believe.

Having lived in Minnesota for 5 years, I graciously appreciate all references to Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing and their ability to find a use for a new glue that was too weak to do anything else worthwhile...
