Silence

Post by DuluthMoose » March 30th, 2010, 12:33 pm

And in the naked light I saw
Three thousand rowers maybe more
Rowers pulling without stopping
Rowers sweating without reprieve
World Row Challenge Meters that voices never shared
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

K2 – It would seem the Luna-tics have been travelling at such a pace that it may have ‘warped’ the metres rowed spreadsheet.

My metres over the past three days follows, so I can’t really claim any half-moons.....but let me say I’m glad that March Madness has finished. I think I rowed every day (at least if feels like it!)....

29/03 11,944
30/03 11,812
31/03 12,056 (morning, not sure I get another in today)

Tomorrow will be my last row tomorrow until next Monday as I will be walking in the Watagan Mountains over the Easter break. Well at least for two days and two days of R & R. Looking forward to it, although it looks like rain and the only downside might be pay-back. On the Newcastle walk last September I ‘forced’ (his term for it) my brother-in-law to walk 50 kilometres one day.....he has sworn revenge  , and I fear it might be this weekend. Don’t really feel like walking that far in one day this weekend.

Enjoy Easter.....and row strong! BBB
