Woohoo! Congratulations, Minnie & Will on achieving a FIVE million meter season! Darryl for a 3 million meter season and Jan, Rodrigo, Mitch and Peter H for their 2 million meter season We wish you many, many more! Phew is that everybody? Take a couple of days off with group and you get seriously behind your kudos.

A little quiz for all you smart guys and gals. Today I rowed for 2 hrs and 3 mins. during the USA-Canada hockey game. How far did I get. Remember no arms with the damper set on 10.

Lefty aka danno

PS: Here is a little math problem I got in my email today. Post your time to solve. My time 30 seconds.

Please look at the math below:
They say only people with an IQ 120 and over are able to figure this out.

If:

2 + 3 = 10

7 + 2 = 63

6 + 5 = 66

8 + 4 = 96

Then:

9 + 7 = ????

Smartie! It took me more than 30 seconds to find the darned desktop calculator to do the x 16 multiplication! (How sad is that ... I didn't even think about doing the math on paper ... )

How about in your head? You don't need no stinking paper for this one.

Minnie That's a lot of movies....great work!

And Danno 144? and anything you rowed with one arm, let alone for two hours, is a great effort........I've enjoyed the ice hockey, not big here as you could imagine!

Right arm oops I meant right on with 144. BAZzy that is with no arms, adaptive rowing at it's finest.

16 x 9 in my head? I guess I could have held 16 x 10 - 16 in my head, but I might have hurt myself. (How's the arm, BTW!?)

Image Time for the Rowin' of the Green! March Madness is upon us! Row 5K or 10K for 25 of the 31 days in March to meet this challenge...get another certificate for your 2010 season folder...and, for each day you row at least 5K, you're entered into a random drawing for Concept2 goodies. Don't delay entering your meters - the drawings are held noonish next business day.

Toothdoc asked two questions. Question number one: 9 + 7 = 144.
Question number two: When he rowed for 2 hours and 3 minutes how far did he get. My guess would be that since the earth is revolving around the sun, and the sun is revolving around the center of our galaxy, and the galaxy is moving through the universe, the total speed of the earth is 1,342,000 MPH. So he traveled 2,751,100 miles.
