Woohoo! Congratulations, Minnie & Will on achieving a FIVE million meter season! Darryl for a 3 million meter season and Jan, Rodrigo, Mitch and Peter H for their 2 million meter season We wish you many, many more! Phew is that everybody? Take a couple of days off with group and you get seriously behind your kudos.
A little quiz for all you smart guys and gals. Today I rowed for 2 hrs and 3 mins. during the USA-Canada hockey game. How far did I get. Remember no arms with the damper set on 10.

PS: Here is a little math problem I got in my email today. Post your time to solve. My time 30 seconds.
Please look at the math below:
They say only people with an IQ 120 and over are able to figure this out.
If:
2 + 3 = 10
7 + 2 = 63
6 + 5 = 66
8 + 4 = 96
Then:
9 + 7 = ????
Re: Go Minnie Go!
Smartie! It took me more than 30 seconds to find the darned desktop calculator to do the x 16 multiplication! (How sad is that ... I didn't even think about doing the math on paper ... )Toothdoc wrote: Here is a little math problem I got in my email today. Post your time to solve. My time 30 seconds.

How about in your head? You don't need no stinking paper for this one.just27 wrote:Smartie! It took me more than 30 seconds to find the darned desktop calculator to do the x 16 multiplication! 16 x 9 in my head? I guess I could have held 16 x 10 - 16 in my head, but I might have hurt myself. (How's the arm, BTW!?)Toothdoc wrote:How about in your head? You don't need no stinking paper for this one.

2010 Monthly Meter Totals
Total team meters by month....we're feeling the impact of some injuries, yet still moving forward towards the moon! Great rowing by everyone!
Toothdoc asked two questions. Question number one: 9 + 7 = 144.
Question number two: When he rowed for 2 hours and 3 minutes how far did he get. My guess would be that since the earth is revolving around the sun, and the sun is revolving around the center of our galaxy, and the galaxy is moving through the universe, the total speed of the earth is 1,342,000 MPH. So he traveled 2,751,100 miles.
