All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 2.25.10

Post by Kona2 » February 26th, 2010, 12:05 pm

Image Wowzer, mates! What an entertaining night at the Space Station! Our man Tony in Duluth first spotted the alien ships zooming towards the space ports - he reports that he heard the buzz of the I Wanna Be A Rock Star concert attendees as the ships arrived in ... what else....groups of three.

Image ImageImage ImageImage Image

The highlight of the evening was definitely the new group "ImageImage G - l - o - r - i - a and The Aliens" ImageImage
ImageImageImageImageImage. G- l - o - r - i - a and The Aliens were called back for no less than five encores of their number one galactic songs: One Is The Loneliest Number, One Moment In Time, One Fine Day, One Thing Leads To Another, and One Night Is Not Enough....but the Space Station truly rocked to the group's (and the mostly alien crowd's) favorite number....The One-Eyed, One-Horned Flying Purple People Eater. Way to rock the Space Station!

Congratulations Will S on 5 Million Meters this Season!!

Had another great paddle yesterday on Juniper Springs run. Seven miles of narrow twisty obstacle course helped get the rust off the maneuvering paddling skills. Biggest gator seen was 7 feet, but there wasn't a lot of time to watch this trip. I was pretty busy in the stern threading our 17 foot aircraft carrier through the maze. Today is very cool and rainy so we are heading West. Hopeully tomorrow we will launch for our last paddle this trip, watch the snowstorm pass to the north, and beeline home right after it passes.
