Got up this morning to go to the gym. Sorry but it was too nice out and went for a long walk. Love the Sunday morning walk. Quiet and still and the only time for such here on Long Island. No time to get to the gym today and they close early on Sunday so I'm a day off my pace.

And for our newer rowers...
Did you wake up to a new Concept2 rower under the tree? Here's an article from Concept2 to help you get started down the right path, including some links to technique videos...

Hi Guys,
Yet another stupid tech question. How do you get a picture put in the right of the forum posts by your name??
Thanks,
Mark

Up at the top left of the screen - under the words "Indoor Rowers" and below that "Board Index" - you'll see the User Control Panel. Select that (log in if necessary) and then choose the "Profile" tab. Down the left-hand side of the page you'll see the "Edit Avatar" option, and you can upload a picture there. The picture needs to be 126 pixels x 126 pixels or smaller, and 9kb or smaller.
Hope this helps,
Jim

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Thanks for the help Jim. Now all I have to do is make a pic fit the size requirements.
Went to do another 27k this A.M. Couldn't do it, could feel the old spine problem getting ready to rear it's ugly head. Did make it to 23k and change though. Finally getting smart enough to know when to ease up.

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
Good Morning TimBukTWOians!! A light day Sunday with only 154 miles of challenge progress, but still, we were at 2,693,124 meters, or 1,672 miles! Awesome!! We made it to Omaha! On through Nebraska now, then up into Wyoming and over the Rockies. We'll break out our special "snow oars" for that....

Re: TimbukTOO Team Room
I don't think I'll ever try to do 27k; that's just a crazy long row! And I think I saw Glen did 33k one day...unreal!The Blacksmith wrote:Thought I'd put up (rather than shut up-not very good at that ) 27,000-2hours 8 minutes-1500 and change calories.
Instead of taking the weekend off as I usually do, I took your "LSD" to heart both days and just did nice easy rows; set the PM3 to Calories rather than Meters and just rowed lightly until I burned so many calories.
Today I was wondering how I'd do having no real rest days. I got on the rower and cranked through 15604 meters in 60 minutes which for me is a PB; I kept a steady rate of 1:55.3 and wound up burning about 1200 calories.
Since I really only have an hour a day to devote to this, I try to eke out a little bit more each week. Sometimes I'll do two 30 minute rows and crank out the first one and take it easy on the second. Or I'll crank out a 5k or 6k and then do something easy. But it's all just in an hour.
Lisa, I think I am going to bump my personal monthly goal to 300k.
Thanks
Jim
