I know exactly what you are saying....I row (try to ) at lunch times at a gym... Model C - last serviced in 1963 (okay 1979) - and has the feel of an amusement park ride! Such a contrast to mine at home......acrewer wrote:Celebrated arrival of PM3 with what else but 3 - 20 min intervals. So nice to be back on my own Model D, the Model C at 24 hr Fitness was not kept up - dirty slide, dirty flywheel, etc.

Looks like Tim P has set a goal of a half marathon a day for the challenge, matching Queen Minnie rowing session for rowing session. Not quite sure how you gents and gals do these every single day! Whew!
Got home late tonight, tired and didn't feel much like rowing. Once I saw Kona's post I was guilted into rowing another half tonight; thanks for the encouragement. On top of of everything else I hadn't realized I broke 7million for my lifetime meters. I've been working too hard lately.

Luna-Tics Virtual Challenge Team
Congratulations! We've made it to the 2 MM milestone! What a challenge! We are still sandwiched between RowPro Online and The Ancients....nothing like being between the Classics and Technology!
Total Challenge Meters thru day 5 of 31 = 2,309,995 m
Total meters on the day = 492,734 m
Team position = 4th in the overall rankings
Crew on the roster = 97 (ROOM FOR MORE!)
Percent of team contributing = 65 percent
Thanks to all the Luna-Tics who have contributed to the challenge - it's tough to find a balance to get time for meters! And this can be even more challenging for our junior rowers. We have one eight year old on the challenge team Lauren C (don't know which parent she might be associated with) who has already rowed 29,220 m ! Well done, Lauren!
