Sorry not to be rowing many meters. Have painful arthritis in my right foot. Am taking pain medication which then bothers my stomach. Anywho hope to be rowing again before too long.

Hi Chris!!!
No apologies necessary.Take care of you first. It is so frustrating to get those type of injuries and try to continue the activity that you love the most.I have had my share of minor but frustrating injuries and issues..aches and pains and the need for doses of ibuprofen to ease the discomfort. And I need to row..I understand what you are dealing with.Take care and just row as you can.We row as a team and row extra for those who may need that time off to heal.We have an entire year and we as a small team are doing really well and consistently holding our place in the rankings.I am impressed!!

Pat, glad to see your back. I miss seeing the stats more than I thought. Checking every morning keeps me motivated and even if I don't feel like erging when I get home from work I just tell myself to get on the thing and do at least 2000m. I usually wind up doing more once I get started. Just something about seeing my name with something done makes me feel better.

Thanks, Susan..
I am so happy :D to be back..I missed the excitement each day of finding just where we stand in the rankings and how many meters we have rowed. But with the computer glitch it was necessary to just get it fixed first.Life without our machines and tech toys is rather paralyzing
So back to business as usual and when I am not here ..just figure that there has been a 'puter illness.Hopefully not me..
I have all your e-mail addresses and did send out an e-mail to all the crew.I know that we don't always check our in boxes and may miss the communications but I try to be sure to keep you all informed. That is what makes a team..and our team is the best!!!
Have a great day!!

FYI

Row to Beijing Challenge
July 1-August 9, 2008

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As we count down to the 2008 Summer Olympics, we’ll offer a special online challenge for all Concept2 rowers. The goal is to row from Concept2 headquarters in Morrisville, Vermont to the Shunyi Rowing Park in Beijing, China, where the Olympic Regatta will take place August 9–17.

Along the way, we’ll visit some important rowing venues, meet athletes, and learn about the upcoming competitions. The entire Concept2 online community will row as one united team, with everyone’s meters helping move us along our route to China. You can row indoors or on the water. When you log your meters in your Personal Online Logbook, you will help row our boat to Beijing!

For more details stay tuned!

Looks like fun and we all do it..all virtual teams together.
Just row as usual and watch the adventure unfold.

Pat
