I took the plunge and bought a model C with a PM-2 from my gym- for $350. I knew it was coming up for sale and have been using this particular boat lately, so I know it is working just fine.
I am planning to upgrade to either the PM3 or 4- some time soon- not sure if I need the 4.
I will still do some rowing at the gym, but now I can also do some weight work without having to rush through a workout.
The price was more than fair, in my opinion.
I put down the back seats in my Prius and loaded it in- drove it home- and now I have a home gym.
So far however, there is still no land in sight.

Sounds like a great purchase, Gary!! It's so convenient to have the rower at home. I got a PM 4 but don't think I use any of the features to be honest. You might get some chain oil from C2 but that's about it for maintenance besides cleaning dust from the flywheel housing and cleaning the rail and wheels (which mysteriously build up some sort of detritus but I can't figure out how! :( ).

And good to know another Prius driver!! Aren't they just the best?!?! I just got a bike rack for mine and the hubby and I are getting mountain bikes today. :D

If its not too late I would like to aim for 150000m for the challenge. I'm going to have to put the hammer down a bit to get there but you all are great motivation.
