14 million meters!- to put that in perspective- if I am able to continue at a 2 million meters per year pace, I will hit 14 million shortly before I turn 70!
Now that is not a bad long-term goal for me..... but, holy cow- that is going to take a long time seated in the boat- a lot of rowing.

We started the VTC2011 with 37 team members, up from 27 a week ago!
More than half (20) put up meters the first day!
The total meters for January 1st (as of 10PM EST) was 189,656! At this rate, our team would accumulate over 5 and a half million meters! Great start!

I hadn't stated a goal and given the struggle I've had to get back to racking up the meters I'll keep it hopefully attainable for January by looking to reach 125k. Hopefully by the March challenge, the fitness base I let skip away these last few months will have returned and I can pile on some serious meters for the team.

The reinforcements are beginning to arrive. Tyrone Patterson, our first Australian and one of our VTC leaders, has chosen to join our year-round team! He brought a boatload of enthusiasm, and a third of a million meters!
Strong meters have given us a powerful hold on #12, less than a ½ million behind #11!

Milestones: Tyrone reached 350K, and Barb hit 150K!
Sneaking up: John near 4 ½ M, Joseph close to 1.4M, Adam inches from 900K, and Raymond near 700K!

A nice 17 of our 53 TimbukTOOians came roaring out of the VTC gate Sunday, 32%, adding 198,611 meters, which with Tyrone’s 334,216 meters put us near 25MM!
