Just wanted to let you know that I have had a set back.. I started back rowing and had a few really awesome rows( for me).I started to have some back issues that radiated to my pecs..(chest) muscles. So I have put my upper body activities on hold..lots of alternative cardio..staying in shape but trying to keep the back strong.Rowing has been on hold.I am doing GREAT!! With good care and just caution..the back is doing wonderfully. So you see no meters for me..I need to get back on the erg..slowly this time..not so gung-ho..LOL.

see ya in the virtual waters!!

Sorry to hear that, Pat! What is it with all us old folks, eh? :P The more I sit at the computer, the worse it is. Hope you are on the mend soon.

UCanRow2
TRAINER TIP: Indoor Rowing and skiing tax your posterior muscle groups most (shoulders, lats). Remember to balance that work with push-ups (modified as needed to meet your fitness level) and stretching of the back, chest and shoulders.

Congratulations to Cathie for becoming our newest millionaire :) Way to row!
I wanted to mention that Ethan's meters of yesterday were a 4 day accumulation. They have their own C2, so I get updates, unless he rows here.
He did row a 1K piece here and is ranked 19th in his age/weight class rankings. Also the youngest rower in his rankings. I did watch him and he did great!
