Thanks! I would like to report to the crew, I have just acquired a severe case of "PITA "this morning. completed my first marathon and broke 5 million lifetime in the process

I saw that; I tried using some gel inserts. Did ok until the last 40 minutes.
At that point you keep shifting around to find a bit of comfort. I'm thinking I will has some time to formulate a new strategy before I try again.

Thanks for the info on the prizes Chris. Somehow I knew about the million meter prize and got a t-shirt, but didn't realize we got a prize for every new million we reached. I'm excited to know about this as I am nearing 3 million lifetime. I'm following in Gina's footsteps, I picked the socks too.

As for the PITA issues, I'm not sure if everyone has the same issues or if the butt pain varies. My PITA issues tend to be a between the cheeks friction issue. For anyone who has similar problems, I found a great solution -- Desitin creamy. (Yes, the cream you put on a baby's bottom for diaper rash issues.) Forgive the image, but I put some between the cheeks prior to erging and haven't had one issue since I started doing this. So, if any of you have the friction type of PITA, give Desitin creamy a try.

I'm packed and ready to leave at first light tomorrow for the Missouri Ozarks for hopefully 5 days of canoeing on the Current River. Does anyone hear a banjo playing? I won't be back on the rower until about May 6.
