LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
WRC 2009 Update: Team Progress Thru 4.12.09

Good rowing ! Collectively we put 310,272 m on the boards yesterday (in between family celebrations, weekend chores, etc.)! Way to multi-task!
We have now rowed the equivalent of 3 percent of the way to the moon in our short time as a WRC team! No time to rest on our laurels, though as we have less than THREE full days to finish out the challenge. We are a few hundred thousand meters ahead of Final Fitness....beware the large team updates....they are like the dark side....mysterious and unpredictable!
Let's finish in a BLAZE of Glory! Row, team, row!!

The Challenge...
As I was cleaning my home office, I came across a crew folder from college. On the cover I wrote a quote that I remember getting from an ad in the USRowing magaizine circa 1990. This qote is very appropriate to the LUNA-tics achievements in the WRC and the rest of the season.
The Challenge ... is from within
The opponent ... is yourself
The reward ... is private
The victory ... is having met the challenge
A salute to those who meet the challenge ... and taste the victory
I'm honored to be a part of this team and I salute you. The motivation and ispiration you have offered me made me achieve well beyond anything I could have imagined this off season. I'll be back on the water next week, so you'll hear less from me over the next 7 months or so. Good luck to all in meeting your personal goals.
