Hola! Multi-tasking....tougher to do with rowing (and exercise in general)! Although we all can catch up on movies, tv, books, and music pretty easily while rowing - you can't find sprinkler heads. Yes, lawn aeration is taking place today...we've had some major dust/dirt storms here in the last few months and I had several sprinkler heads under at least an inch of soil - this made discovery rather entertaining. (Still lot of potential to freeze, so didn't want to power up the system.)Image That's why the posting is later today. :D

Elsewhere in our rowing universe, we continue our quest for destination moon! While it seems to take forever to move even one percentage point closer, we're still getting close (a relative term) to halfway there. As Mitch notes, the air is more rarified here in space! We're also getting closer to having a meters/member average of ONE million. Incredible!

Season meters as of 341/365 = 78,899,544 m

Total meters on the day = 383,470 m (wowzer.....lots of erging!)

Oars in space = 27 percent

MILESTONES....Bragging Rights.....Celebrations:

5.7 MM Dan
2.1 MM Dave
1.3 MM Mike C

Mike M with (49,655 m) to go has entered the red zone!

Meters to go = 32.295 individual tax returns or 30 Corporate returns... and possibly 5 rowable days between now and April 15th. Can I finish all my clients' returns AND make it to 2 million???

Image FULL MOON TONIGHT - Row for Destination Moon!

Image

ELEVEN Million Meters! What a crew! Yesterday we rowed a collective 376,067 m ! This keeps us in eighth place overall and number 5 on the virtual club list! Great rowing!

Wild Bill is closing in on one million meters! Dan, Will S, Mike S, and Barry have exceeded the half million meter mark ! Many of us are rowing more meters in this last three weeks than we have ever rowed in the same time period before - impressive !

SIX more days......we should be well ready for the Global Marathon Challenge with all these meters being rowed. Perhaps you'll do your first full marathon ... or your first half marathon .... row your first 10K ! It's all good.

Thank you all for rowing with the Luna-Tics team in this challenge ... you are putting forth amazing numbers of meters....

All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 4.09.09

Post by Kona2 » April 10th, 2009, 11:54 am

What if I told you that everyone on the team could have a million meter season? It's true! With the completion of a mere 1,311,118 more meters, we will arrive at 81 MM....and with 81 team members, that's 1 MM per team member! Rowing math! So.....row for your team's average !

Season meters as of 344/365 = 79,688,882 m

Total meters on the day = 287,970 m

Oars in space = 23 percent
