Re: The TimbukTOO/TIMBUK2 Team Room SEASON 2010
I'd like to keep up with my rowing for March Madnesss and the start of the wrc but I will be away from home from March 11th until April 2nd. Is anyone familiar with the Pharr Texas area and know if there is YMCA or something that might have a rower I can get access to?

There is a way to find rowers all over the USA...go to the Concept2 web site..and navigate there.I will see if I can find the link..but they will give you all that info!

Re: The TimbukTOO/TIMBUK2 Team Room SEASON 2010
Hi Teammates,
Just to keep you all up to date on my walking- I am having troubles. I can't seem to pass the 2 hour mark. That's about 8 miles for me. My arms just get so tired and I am going to switch to forearm crutches. Don't see how I can ever make a marathon. I did row an hour today after walking an hour.
Thanks for letting me bend your ears.
Jim

Re: The TimbukTOO/TIMBUK2 Team Room SEASON 2010
I've reached the 2 month anniversary of the purchase of my Model D and the start of my weight loss journey. Month two was less successful with less meters due to some work commitments and a full 6 days off the erg for travel.
In month 2 I rowed 158,033 meters for a total of 12:11:21.4 of time on the erg, I also managed to lose a disappointing 4kgs, leaving me 7.5 kgs to go to reach my short term goal of 200 lbs on May 1st. My cumulative totals for 2 months on the erg are; 380,720 meters, 30:01:05.8 time, and a total weight loss of 12.5 kgs.

Chili, I'm amazed at that weight loss! You must be doing some healthy eating, too! Choices, choices, choices..
Jim, you're amazing with the walking AND rowing!
I don't know what happened following the fall challenge, but I really blew my daily average. A year ago, I was injured following the challenge, so I sort of had an excuse. Reality check: I've decided that trying to get back on the 10,000 meter board by the end of the season would just be too much for me. If I could row faster, then maybe. In any case, my new goal is to get to PAGE 1 of the 7500 daily meter board. It's not a given, but it's possible. Then I should be totally prepared to start out the new season in good shape.
