New teammate Nick posted that he would be signing on for the Challenges with a specific goal. I personally like that we can have some time to change the goal we might first go after (and then reality either sets in or we find that we are capable of MORE!).

Choose Your Goal

Choose from one of the following goals. You can either row for consistency, time, or Calories. Choose carefully—you can change your goal up until the end of January 10 GMT, but after that, there's no changing it…

The Stretch Row, ski or ride a minimum of 500m on 20 days in January
The Big Stretch Row, ski or ride a minimum of 500m every day in January
The Haul Row, ski or ride for 15 hours in January
The Long Haul Row, ski or ride for 30 hours in January
The Burn Row, ski or ride 10,000 calories in January
The Big Burn Row, ski or ride 20,000 calories in January

I came up with the idea a couple weeks ago and went for it today. Half marathon row and ski followed by 100k on the bike. It was certainly challenging and not something I’m likely to attempt again any time soon. I’m proud of the accomplishment. Happy New Years to everyone and I hope you all accomplish whatever you put your mind to.
