A very warm welcome to the new team members, we've now hit 500k for the challenge. Incredible stuff and 27 of you have contributed to that total so please pat yourselves on your back - you deserve it.

Incredible effort by you all, every metre is as important as the next.

Have to mention David from the Gold Coast who has contributed 67,395m so far - the first over 50! Well done David.

Plenty of people going for that top spot with Guido, Phil, Geoffrey, Steve, Garry and Kirsty all at 30,000 or above.

28 out of 31 members have now registered for the challenge, thank you all very very much.

Overall Position is 20th - up by 4!!! Awesome job.

Can I add my welcome to our new members and hope that they enjoy the challenges. It does add another dimension for me rowing metres for the team and it's great to see the growth in membership and I am amazed at our collective effort thus far.
I have been averaging 40k or thereabouts in training before the challenge but slowed down my pace a tad and hope to reach 200k in total and for the first week I am on target.
There are certificates for 100k and 200k so.hope to get one or the other.

I think there is only a running total throughout the challenge.
As the challenge started last Tuesday (15th) then you can either count yesterday as end of Week 1, or end of today as that will be 7 days.
