Cold air means bright stars for winter stargazers! There's less moisture, less haze ...at least when it's not snowing. Last night and early this morning, moon views were amazing! Fence check for critters the dogs would find SO interesting continues year round...just as their curiosity does... providing views I would not otherwise see. Find a reason to get outside at night...one that doesn't involve the car keys!

Thanks for welcoming me back. How are all my Luna-tic friends doing? It certainly has been a while since I checked in. I've erged over this past year, but was a slacker at updating my info into my logbook, so it doesn't look like I did much of anything. I've been going to the gym 3-5 days a week depending on the time of year. During the non-school year, I am on the water more and at the gym less. (I teach and have to be at work by 7:10 am, so rowing with my club that gets off the water at 7 doesn't work out so well.) I'm going to give the 200k challenge a go this year, but will be happy if I get above 100k. I'm not dropping my usual 3 days a week of weight training at the gym to erg, so we will see if I can make up those meters on the weekends with longer erg sessions.
