I figured the new season was as good a time as any to start back up! We had our second son about 7 weeks ago, and I intended to start rowing again during paternity leave, but his sleep schedule had other ideas...
Congratulations, Corey, to you, Mom, and Big Brother!

When it rains....it's a great opportunity to check out your rain gear! I know...you can smell the wet dog from where you are, because the pups think rain is walking weather...everything is walking weather! Meanwhile, indoor erging is absolutely good stuff !

This is a fun list of 10 reasons why riding in the rain is awesome..

Golf league started yesterday - and whoa...the get out of the house and to the course on time sure needs improvement. Left my golf shoes by the garage door....not helpful! Feelin' it after walking 18 for the first time in about a year! Uff da!

Image Wow, David A! It's like you knew what to track with your Model C when you first got it! 10,000 days....not even sure if you had your five kids when you first started with the rower! And somewhere in there, you've also gotten a few bicycle trips in there as well.

Chip's averaging more than a few hours on the bike erg each day, and is a third of a way towards his first one million of the season. As always, I throw in the cautionary tale that we want teammates to not burn out or get injured during a big meter push - even when they have a good conditioning base to work from!

It's always good to actually meet members of our virtual team! Norma and her husband Ed are in travel mode, and were able to stop for a visit in my section of the planet! A good visit on a breezy, blue sky day! And, naturally, I had to encourage (she might say insist!) that she put some meters on the rower so she could show up on the 2023 roster!

I got the half marathon row in this morning. Tough one, and it took me longer than any other time I've rowed that distance, but I still see it as an accomplishment and I'm just grateful to be able to do it. Great job to everyone getting those challenge distances in. :D
