Jan - nice pic
Mike C - you are in my sights....
Peter - hope you are back on the rower soon.
Kristine...hope the bookkeeping hasn't done you in. All books and no oars makes one miss the boat!

Jan - cool graphic for square root day - definitely appropriate for those of us who play shell games - or games in shells ...I may just have to add 205m today - (sq root marathon).
My teenagers are math wiz's but didn't think square root day was cool. Oh well, pi day is coming.

Happy Birthday, Lilia!
Crank up your Skype and talk to your family all night ... and know that Peter will have an amazing birthday present for you when he returns home (he'd better!) ...

Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone! It was one of those biggies that end in 0 for me. So if I hadn't made it to geezerhood before, I'm certainly there now. I think I'll make a trip to Geezer Gap this week.... My wife treated me to birthday dinner at Red Lobster, and then we had birthday cake at home. Chocolate cake with German chocolate type frosting on top with whipped light chocolate frosting on the sides. And around the sides were yellow, red, and blue Easter peeps (the marshmallow ones) stuck into the fluff. She called it a peep show cake? And now I get booted up into a new Concept 2 category for PR's, but darn I have to row each ranked workout over again to qualify!
Lilia - Have a great birthday! Celebrate! It's your day!
Dave - Loved the new moose picture with the propeller on the beanie!
Chris - Cool moose picture! Thanks for posting it.
I have to share the little sing-song verse my sister sent me for the occasion. (member of the irritating sibling society, but I guess so am I) It brought back memories of being on the high school team or student body bus to a game.
If you're older and you know it, creak your knees! Creak! Creak!
If you're older and you know it, creak your knees! Creak! Creak!
If you're older and you know it and you really want to show it,
If you're older and you know it creak your knees! Creak! Creak!
