Hoorah for Luna-Tics!
Great rowing, everyone! Congrats on a fine finish!
Thanks for the birthday wishes folks!
Awesome work team to finish fourth (esp. with only 60 "ergers"!).
Amazing job William H! A million metres is a stunning effort!
Once again, thanks to Kona2, Moose and Just27 for all their efforts and motivation with the record keeping and daily motivation - it really made the month go quickly!
Cheers,
Dave

Re: JVC Daily Record
I agree with Gina. This team is a great support system. It truly doesn't matter whether you put in 1,000m or 1 million meters, the LUNA-tics are there to support you every stroke of the way.
This team inspired me to new heights during the holiday challenge. This inspiration managed to carry over into the JVC. THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! I find you all truly inspiring. I will be continuing on the erg. My coaches experiment has 3 more weeks, so I know I'll be sticking with it at least that long. However, I'm not back on the water until April, so hopefully I'll remain motivated to keep erging until then.
Congratulations to everyone on their efforts this January. I'm honored to be your teammate.

I also agree the Luna-Tics are great support and motivation to row more and farther than you think you really can.kgallagher wrote:I'm not back on the water until April...

Dan,
My wife and I plan to be canoeing with a group from Georgia over President's weekend and we will be at the Juniper Springs Recreation Area in Ocala National Forest. After that the plan is to move north toward Lake City and paddle on the Sante Fe and Suwannee Rivers with a friend from Atlanta. Then my wife and I will be touring north Florida on our own and the plans become much looser, but will probably include some time at Cedar Key and definitely in the Apalachicola area. Gotta feast on that great seafood in Apalachicola and get my bare feet full of sand from walking on the Gulf Coast beaches, you know, before I head back to the frozen tundra.
