Congratulations Jim, was great motivation trying to keep up with you. :(

Thanks to Pat for the stats, and thanks to Linda - your telling me not to give up was the kick up the back side I needed.

Andrew - I am scared to ask what your nickname for me is, probably best I don't know.

The forum was fun and interesting. Finally thanks to my wife for putting up with my rowing addiction. It's our wedding anniversary and I love you.

Until the next time!

Took a couple of days off and am now having trouble getting back into the swing of things. Work is a bear, too, which doesn't help. There is time to do the rowing; I just have to choose the right place to sit at the end of the day!

Goal for the rest of October: at least 10,000 per day!

Kathy and Linda...

My wife and I are long suffering...VERY long suffering Bills fans. We go back to 4 failed SuperBowls (4 years running) and THEN some.

Well the Bills beat the Jets yesterday...lol, only because nobody seemed to want to win it!

There's always next year :)

Mike,

I've found that I'm much happier when I follow lots of teams in baseball, basketball, & football, so SOMEONE, somewhere has to be winning! We mostly follow the Rockies, Broncos (talk about history, we sure miss Elway), and all of the UW teams. If my teams don't win, then I try to revel when my friends' teams win!

A high school friend was married to a Bills' player, Bob Chander. Do you remember him? He played with OJ at USC. Bob passed away suddenly several years ago from lung cancer. It was very sad. I hope your Bills continue to win. Any W is a win, no matter how ugly (and following UW, the Rockies, & the Broncos, we know this for a fact!)!

Linda,

I'm with you ... watching the Phillies as I type!

Bob Chandler...of course, tremendous receiver and all around athlete, died WAY too young. Poor guys dies of lung cancer and was, as far as I've been told, a non-smoker. Yet, OJ, continues on...sometimes there is no justice.

Now, back to my regularly scheduled program...

Oh no...Dodgers just tied it up...
