Hang in there, Captain

Pat,
Sorry to read about your health issues. It's nice to see so many team members cheering you on.
I'm still trying to think of how many meters I could row, if work, eating and sleeping didn't keep me off the rower so darn much.

:)

Thanks Bernie!!
As we age there are health issues to deal with and this is one..my thyroid is not functioning and I have a meeting with my Doc on Friday to see what the treatment will be etc.I have all my test results in hand and now I need to see what the "diagnosis" turns out to be.The team support means so much.Times like this are nerve wracking to say the least. But row I do and maybe slower but ..I row.
Take care and thanks for the post!!

This challenge has been a hoot...my wife keeps laughing every time I say I'm going down to row :)) she also said something about OCD but I really wasn't listening as I had to get the rower ready!

Did about 13k before dinner...then realized how close I was to 200K for the challenge and rowed AFTER dinner as well...

Now I'm sitting down watching the NLDS with a very nice Cabernet from Lisa's part of the country...ahhhhh, the rewards of hitting 200K!

Mike
PS: Lisa, how do you expect me to catch you if you insist on constantly rowing?

What? Did someone say something? I couldn't hear over the sound of my erg! :D

Hey Mike, I gave you a chance to catch up last weekend -- don't blame me! If I could row as fast as you, I'd have 400k now instead of only 300!

As it is, I'm trying to claw my way into the top 100 again before the end of the challenge. I don't think I'll make it. My work got busy again and it's hard to carve out more than an hour a day without the hubby getting jealous. :P Oh well, I've exceeded my original goal, and I'm itching to get back to running again.

Way to go Joel!!!!! Keep up the stellar performance! Everyone's doing great!!
