Hey Team,

I promised Kristine 200,000 meters and I'm over half way there with 110,549 metters. This is important because I'm lecturing three evenings next week, which will cut into my erging. Not to worry, I'll make my goal and may even shoot at 250,000.

Full Wolf Moon

Post by DuluthMoose » January 11th, 2009, 8:34 pm

Here's what I saw of the wolf moon rising last evening over Lake Superior. The photo was taken about 10 minutes after sunset. The moon must have risen at least a half hour before sunset to be that high already. Within minutes of this shot haze, clouds, and light snow moved in.

Good job John. Keep pullin'.

Just to let Just27 and Wild Bill know I just finished a Marathon. I guess that will be my Power 10 to help ward off those pesky RowPro people.

I had a bunch of unwatch stuff on my DVR that I needed to delete and it amounted to about 4 hours. So being the great mathematician that I am I put 2 and 2 together and came up with 42,195.

Great job, Dan!

Trying to catch you in total season meters reminds me of when I was a kid and my little sister used to threaten me with, "Someday when I'm older than you ..." Obviously, she never caught me

You're a great inspiration to this old desert rat, Dan - keep up the great work!

Dang - it IS cold there in Minnesota land! As for those other buccaneers ... let them walk the plank! Looks like a good antidote to cold days!

Dan,
Congratulations on your marathon. Had to quit running ten years ago because of my knees. Now I just stick to cycling and erging.

The Looney Full Moonie Marathon Mug

Post by Kona2 » January 12th, 2009, 2:04 pm

Image

Like many things that have gone by the wayside, the Concept2 marathon mugs will soon be no more. They are indeed running out their inventory, refuse to carry some in their online store, and Cafe Press only offers beer steins. Not. So..... I think we should design the Looney or Luny Full Moonie marathon mug.

I have checked online, and there are indeed glass companies that will work with us on this. Minimum orders do apply, but some of you will want more than one. So....when we're ready for these... I think the investment is small. The administration of same might be a bit of a headache, but hey - we're Luna-Tics already. And if we make any of these, I say we send one to Concept2 with our blessings.

Let me know your thoughts.

Sounds promising ... if we want to use the C2 logo, I'm guessing we'd have to get permission from the company ... or should we make our own Lunatic logo? (Though, perhaps members of Club 42,195, on other teams, might want to avail themselves of this option ... ?)

27 (the person, not the house number)
