I am certainly not above relentlessly exhorting the Lunies to erg more than they thought they could....hahaha. In fact, I'm looking for some additional Marathon Fever to be injected into the Challenge. Each stats day I see columns and columns of numbers...and increasingly these are comprised of FIVE digit numbers. Once you start routinely putting in the five digit numbers....hey, why not cap off the week with a half moon?

Meanwhile, the Concept2 Universe is HALF-WAY to its $40K Charity donations goal ! Almost 4500 individuals have reached the 100K milestone, and those who have earned the Holiday Challenge pin number almost 1000.

Brace yourself! The Holiday Challenge (and the Season) is reaching PEAK fever! Great time to "escape" to the erg for some calming meters! Hahaha! Actually, not kidding....

Meanwhile, there are SO MANY bright points of connection in the crazy chaos that imbues our Luniverse! At some time during the erging day, we're all thinking about the same thing...meters, and maybe the time it took us to generate those meters. And somewhere in the backdrop of that running conversation you have in your mind while you erg, you're working on some other things. Perhaps it's similar to how our brains think about stuff when we're in REM sleep. Solving the problems of the world, or at least remembering where you put x or y (wait...you don't think in algebra? Me either.). Personally, I think we're generating what I call positrons when we erg...those tiny bits of positive energy that help make things right in our worlds. And how do you know it's working? Perhaps when you think more about what's possible....things that you surely didn't think were possible before you started the Holiday Challenge....things like ...wow...I have SEVEN whole days .... maybe I could reach Flashing Harness status....whoa...reindeer snort. Onwards.

Yay, Adele. I'm always so impressed when you row AND post the timely stats on the forum. I know that "life happens" for everyone, but Mata Hari has every intention of overcoming those obstacles, and earning that darned $6, and flashing antler lights, soon-ish! I do hope that you make it through the USPS queue before Christmas.
