Is it my imagination, or is there a sequence forming amongst the palindromes?
I think I hear a song coming on ...

(Nice little video from the Sheffield University Rowing Club, that seemed appropriate. Hope they met their fundraising goals.)

Great to see Tim G back in the Challenge hunt!
Thanks Kona, I checked my old log books and this is the first Holiday Challenge I've participated in since 2012. It hurts so good to be rowing again.

Yosemite (Doug G)
Doug's Half Dome experience still stands as one of the all time best Lunie adventures! We're pretty sure there will be more.

Day 12 of 32...
18 Lunie Reindeer! Bring on the herd! There is STILL PLENTY of time.
Remember the first Holiday Challenge you participated in? I sure do. I didn't get started on Day 1...it was considerably past that time. I made up a chart of how many meters I needed to do each day, and what would happen if I missed a day here or there...and had my own countdown schedule. This was pre-forum days. There I was on Christmas Eve, sweating out that I would get those last meters finished. It was much harder work (or so it seemed) than it is now. Helps to have made it through a few of these TRADITIONS of earning the pin. But the message is that you, too, can earn your pin even if you're feeling like the goal is a bit of a stretch. This is what grit is all about...and the Lunies surely have grit.
So far, over 1000 people are at the 100K milestone in the Concept2 universe...and only ten percent of them have made it to 200K. Happily, the $$$ count is climbing on the charitable earnings! I hope to add my own reindeer powered $2 later today!
Supermoon is indeed super....was at 99 percent last night and will be at 97 percent tonight.

Adele (K2)
Adele is a fictional character in the RCN series that David Drake writes, and is the signals (communications) officer. Seems appropriate.

Congrats to all of this season's named reindeer, but especially to Adele. I don't know how she has time to keep on top of the forum AND row, too. Way to navigate Team LunaTics through the bubble universe, Astrogator. Daniel would be proud.

Dancer (Ed)
Ed's passed the 400K milestone in the Holiday Challenge....and that's given Dancer a bit more swagger and the tail wag (in addition to the antler lights and flashing harness!).
