Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Ok Mrs. Stevenson I rowed 15940 today see if that matches up. This was for Penny who Passed last week. Its Secretariats KD record. Tomorrow will be 15300 next will be 22400. If These numbers don't match yours that's ok.
Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
Maybe you had some on the water meters or something - I was just subtracting the total meters we show on the spreadsheet - and assuming that the others were bike meters. Maybe they are not. Still some work to do on the logbook for C2. However you look at it, you have a ton of meters.Drivetofast wrote:Ok Mrs. Stevenson I rowed 15940 today see if that matches up. Assume you are talking about Penny, the owner of Secretariat then. She was a cool gal.

Sunrise....later and later! And HOW is it that the time of day on several bluetooth devices doesn't match up?! More mysteries of technology....or maybe the Fitbit is biting the dust...
Meanwhile, meters are making their way into your meter piggy banks by multiple devices! Rowers, ski-ergs and bikes (and sometimes a combo of these devices) are showcasing the role that Concept2 is playing in your life. Good stuff.

Every so often, Minnie sends me a link to a fab recipe - and some blueberry muffins sounded like just the thing as the weather gets cooler, etc. Cooking, like most things I seem to try, is not without incident. Anyone who has watched Gene Wilder's "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" knows that blueberries are rather explosive little gems. My ki-tchen doesn't quite look like it did when I tried to make beets (that was a true crime scene enactment), but there are a few blueberries that kind of got a bit messier than I thought they might. Here's the clip from Charlie... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Yqw_f26SvM Thing 1 and Thing 2 enjoyed the muffin that practically hopped out of the pan. I suppose blueberries are ok for the pups!

Crime Scene Cooking
Snort. Did the recipe say to cook the beets before you tried to shred them in your Cuisinart, Buttercup!?Kona2 wrote:Every so often, Minnie sends me a link to a fab recipe - and some blueberry muffins sounded like just the thing as the weather gets cooler, etc. Cooking, like most things I seem to try, is not without incident. And, what, pray tell, happened to the blueberries as they were being gently folded into the muffin mix?
This evening's pre-erg dinner experiment is Cochinita Pibil ... don't mess with those earthy Mayans.

Woohoo! It's a FIRST ever!!
The coveted yellow jersey! Whoop, whoop and it's a FIRST ever! In fact, Richard T hit the ONE million bike erg meters so fast that Concept2 hadn't even had a chance to create the million meter club for Bike Erging! That makes it a FIRST EVER for the Concept2 universe! Definitely worthy of a shout out! Congratulations, Richard T, on adding to your medal count! We wish you many, MANY more!

Re: All In A Day's ERG: Team Progress Thru 9.29.17
For those of us who live in Victoria, AFL is the true religion- and the Richmond Tigers prevailed for the first time in 37 years! To put that in perspective, none of the current players were born then! My wife has been waiting patiently since then! So exciting times. Am currently watching the NRL final, looks like the Melbourne Storm are crushing to a victory, so altogether a great result for us Victorians.Kona2 wrote:

Having a few troubles getting my last two days rows recorded: battery on my tablet flat, so instead of Ergdata, I fell back to the Utility, but this failed because the card had gone awol. Have entered manually, hoping to use verification code, but can't find anywhere to input it! I'm sure I have done it in the past. Oh well, every metre counts, no matter how it is entered.

Doin' great in spot number 8...
Maybe it was the clink of milk bottles being placed into the cooler on the porch, or maybe it was a bump of thunder in the night....3:30 AM and the pups were up and about. Most of us learn not to ignore THAT whine or bark. Steady rain and soggy dogs - by the time they had been out and about, and dried off....I was thoroughly AWAKE. A busy weekend here meant that there were a few newspapers that I hadn't read just yet. There, on the front page of Friday's paper, was a picture of a guy hiking down a mountain carrying a dog...and what a story. You might like it, too. http://www.denverpost.com/2017/09/29/do ... fourtneer/

And yes, Longmont Dairy delivers milk, etc., in glass bottles to my front porch cooler every Monday. It is awesome - even if antiquated.
