Another Meter Multimillionaire

Post by Kona2 » December 21st, 2008, 6:58 pm

Wowzer! What an incredible holiday challenge! We have personal milestones lining the team's journey to the moon!

Congratulations Tony! He's reached the TWO million meters in a rowing year mark! And wouldn't you know that he hit that 2,000,000 with his lucky 7,777 meters!

To infinity and beyond! But do stop at the moon first!

Will S has passed the FIVE Million Meters in a season mark - and we're only 2/3 done with the rowing year!

And, he crossed the 500K Holiday Challenge metric at the same time!

Our engine room is truly fired up! What are you guys eating for breakfast!!!
Congratulations Will! Cannot say it better than Jan, so I just subscribe...

Thanks for the birthday cheer, everyone. Keith and I had a great day out together; found a great new place for sushi, and had dessert and coffee BEFORE dinner.

Congratulations to all the new milestone accomplishments these past few days. This team ROCKS!

Preferred Beverages for Virtual NYE Party: Updated

<21 Crew:
Cosmonaut Cooler (Tang + ?)

>21 Crew:
AJ: Guinness
Andrea: GT (Bombay Sapphire)
Angelo: (I’m guessing Fosters, or maybe Tooheys seeing you’re in NSW?)
Barbara: Champagne (for toasting purposes only)
Chris: Champagne & Cassis
Darryl: Captain Morgan with Peach Schnapps
Gina: Black Velvet
Jack: (Oh, it would be way too easy if your preferred bev is Jack!)
Karyn: Hot Toddy (Johnny Powers whiskey)
Kristine: good coffee ~ designated (spaceship) driver
Mary: Beefeater martini, rocks
Pat B: Sam Adams Winter Lager
Peter H: Salentein Malbec Reserva 2002 (will you be sharing that with Lilia?)

You might want to state (restate?) a beverage preference, or you may find yourself drinking virtual freeze dried space punch ...

Happy Birthday to sushi-eating Kristine ... and congratulations to us all on a stellar Holiday Challenge effort. I just realized on Saturday that there is not a snowball's change in a black hole that I can get to $20 ... drat.

Chris

Ah, Champipple ... the lesser-known champagne cocktail ... you got it, Tom! (Works okay with donuts?)

I forgot to add that Jan had signed-up for a Cosmopolitan (those cranberries are so good for you).
