Still in the 110's over here and the dust is really bad this year. Allergies kicking in big time. So I stay in and watch movies rowing. Today I surpassed 43 million lifetime meters. Been a fun and rewarding journey.
Keep having fun on your adventure K2 it sounds like fun!

"Now that's a proper introduction."
I think I'll borrow from the sci-fi world again for today's post. Arrival is one of the smarter sci-fi films to come along. And who better than a heptapod to point out our current position at Lucky #7 in the Fall Team Challenge (https://log.concept2.com/challenges/ftc/2018/teams).
Now for those of you who already caught this movie (or the short story), let me tell you... you would not believe what's going to happen in the next 20 years.

Here's a sneak peek at the Concept 2 Model F (F for Fall, of course)
... waiting for comments on the seat ...
We're currently still holding strong in 7th position in the Fall Team Challenge (https://log.concept2.com/challenges/ftc/2018/teams).
And one more reminder about Team Challenges. They are separate from the normal Team Affiliation, and members of the team are not automatically added to the challenge.
To add yourself to the Fall Team Challenge, go to https://log.concept2.com/team, select the LUNA-TICS team, and click that you want to participate in the Fall Team Challenge. You can double-check that you are in the challenge by looking for your name on our challenge team roster at https://log.concept2.com/team/2537/ftc/2018.

Re: LUNA-TICS TEAM ROOM: Year-round "Looney" fun.
I have hesitated while I resign myself to doing fewer meters than I have in prior years. Between taking my wife every day to radiation treatments for breast cancer while she is mending from a severe sprain of her foot and other responsibilities I may not add much to the team's total. But I confess to being moved that you noticed my absence and invited me to join the Loonies in this favorite challenge second only to the charity row from Thanksgiving to Christmas Eve. And so, while I am also feeling more acutely the effects of age I will shortly add the 44, 000 + meters I rowed and skied these past four days to the team's total. Hopefully, I can stay close to this pace. Again, thanks for the reminder. TomDrivetofast wrote:Mr. Tom Rafter, Why don't you join the fall team challenge? We need all the meters we can get
