Thanks, Pat, for tracking all of the milestone achievements! There sure have been a lot of them. I think that the 500,000 mark is difficult because it seems such a long way to 1 million, but it's not with regular rowing! Keep rowing strong, team!

Hope everyone goes to the team link page to be sure you've signed up on the Timbuk2 team for the upcoming virtual challenges. Pat, my page says I'm signed up, so I'm not quite sure what our new members must do in order to choose Timbuk2 for these challenges.

Will try to log in my meters this weekend. Between work and allergy problems this week, I'm lucky to have rowed at all.

Overview
January Virtual
World Rowing Challenge
Fall Rowing Challenge

FAQsHow to Join a Team: Information for Team Members
1.First, you'll need to find a team to join. This is not the same as your club affiliation in your profile. If you don't know of a team but want to participate, visit the Team/Club/University Challenge Corner in the Training Forum and post that you're looking for a team to join.
2.Establish an Online Logbook if you haven't already (it's FREE!).
To do so:
a.Visit the Online Logbook home page.
b.Click Register under New Users and follow the directions.
3.Join a team:
a.In your online logbook, click Teams at the top of the page.
b.In the Join a Team section, click Choose A Team and select a team from the list.
c.Click Select Team.

If the team has open membership, you will automatically be added to the team roster. If the team has closed membership (that is, membership by permission only), use the page provided to send an email to the Team Captain asking permission to join the team.
4.Indicate that you are actively participating in the current challenge:
a.In your online logbook, click Teams at the top of the page.
b.In the Team Challenge section, click the link provided to indicate your participation.
If you change your mind, you can leave the challenge using the Leave this Challenge link provided in the same location. You have until approximately two weeks into the current challenge to make changes; after that time, team membership and participation cannot change for the remainder of the challenge.
5.Enter all of your meters into your online logbook.
6.If you do not have access to a computer but want to participate as a team member, contact your Team Captain and ask if they would enter your meters for you. Due to the popularity of these challenges, we strongly encourage you to create your own online logbook and log your own meters to keep the workload manageable for the Team Captains. Team members without online logbooks do not need to indicate that they are participating in the challenge (step 4 above), as they are automatically considered part of the current challenge.

What's up with all the dog pictures in the team details?!

I seen all the dogs, so I had to add my pal Mack! He's a new addition to the family last October which we rescued from the pound. 95 pounds of rottweiler/black lab mix that prefers jogging to rowing! He can't quite figure out how to keep his tail out of the rollers !!!!

Today was cold in the Midwest, I think we just reached 65, but had a good breeze all day that kept it cold. Ended up pedaling this morning with a local group. Battery operated socks, technology is a wonderful thing!!

Now just finished my rowing for the night, which it feels great being back on the Erg! And watching the Brewers take care of the Pirates!

Congrats to all the milestones, the team is really flying! Great to be back on board!
