Last day of the calendar year - make it an awesome one whatever you do ! Many teams actively recruiting for the January Virtual Team Challenge. We're an open team so anyone can join for as long as they wish to stay. Our journey to the moon is a long one, and it's good to have fellow travelers on our interstellar journey. We've made the journey to the moon twice, and we're on another shuttle run now! We hope you will join us on our journey!

Happy New Year, Shabana !!!
Thanks Guinan for bringing in the New Year in style, and the inspirational story about your son, and his rusty train.
Congratulations, Will S !!!
Great pictures of your ride, David !!! And great to read about your pursuit of your goals, and keeping up that 2:00 pace for 3 MM. No prisoners.
And feeling motivated by K2's "push yourself one more time" post.
Brings to mind some lines from Braveheart... after William Wallace gives his big Freedom speech, the crazy Irishman says, "Fine speech. Now what do we do" ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)
But there was an answer... Just be yourselves.
So here's to a Happy New Year ... being ourselves.

It's good to be back
Starting back on the erg, it wasn't easy to get started again. First a 7 minute session, then a 15 minute the next day... and now four days of 30 minute sessions (and a few cooldowns) in a row.
I signed up for the January challenge and plan on improving my meters (and health).
Happy new year everyone!
Wim (attempting to get back into rowing shape).

For me a Rusty train (gin, lemon juice, triple sec, spash of red cucureo) There is no picture of this as it is my own creation in honor of my son Orion's boxcar being moved to our backyard this year (

Yes, I struggled to get to sleep at all, so got up at 5:30 am and got the first entry for Team Lunie, a palindrome of the ascending and descending variety, best way to avoid a hangover!
Thanks for the wishes, danwho, and best of luck in the challenge to all members.

And so it begins!
But first. There are traditions.
Whoooosh!! That's the sound of you and your erg flying through ANOTHER month and ANOTHER calendar year! Here's wishing everyone a very special and spectacular 2017!
The Virtual Teams Challenge is on....and at this relatively early hour...we're in the 12th spot with about 50K. Lots of day left for you to contribute to the Challenge Team meter piggy bank...and meet one of your own personal exercise goals!
MILESTONES...Bragging Rights...Celebrations:
